Formed in 2008, RM Rodriguez Construction is a growing design-build commercial general contractor. Our first full year of operations, 2009, the company had planned to perform approximately $300,000 worth of work; it actually had closer to $1.6 million in revenues. In 2010, RM Rodriguez Construction again surpassed the revenue goals they set for themselves by signing over $5 million in contracts. This growth has occurred during a particularly difficult economic time for the construction industry and can be directly credited to efficient management. We see good growth opportunities in the future as well.
Recent projects include the 2.8 million dollar Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Temple, the Bluebonnet Plaza in Belton, and the Public Safety Center in Morgan’s Point Resort and various projects for the Scott & White Hospital.

Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Urban are each OSHA safety trained and certified. In addition, the company has an independent safety auditor that ensures our safety program is implemented properly. The company has had zero lost time accidents.
Key Personnel
Rene M. Rodriguez, President, CEO, and General Project Manager. Rene received his construction degree from Texas State Technical College in 1977. Over his 35 year construction career, Rene has worked on all types of construction projects throughout the United States and Europe working primarily in senior management as a business partner. He has extensive experience in project management, estimating, safety, and field operations. Over Mr. Rodriguez's career he has never left a job uncompleted or been asked to leave for any reason. Because of his strong work ethic and integrity, he has never had a claim filed against any bonding company.

John A. Urban, General Superintendent. John has been involved in the construction industry for over 35 years throughout the south. He has owned his own company in addition to working for many large contractors. He has extensive construction experience as both a superintendent and foreman. His primary responsibilities include quality control and assurance, field operations and logistics, and job safety.
